Ella K’s was born from a deep-rooted passion and a desire to preserve a beloved hometown tradition. When a long-established bridal shop in Waterloo closed its doors, Savannah—who had worked there previously—knew she couldn’t let the community lose such a special place. Seizing the opportunity, she took over the business and named it in honor of her grandmothers, Louella, Eleanora and Donna Kay, whose legacy of strength and grace continues to inspire everything we do.
What makes Ella K’s Bridal truly special is our commitment to personalized service and a family-focused experience. We offer private bridal suites—spacious, elegant, and filled with natural light—where brides and their loved ones can relax and enjoy the journey of finding the perfect gown. Our team is dedicated to making every bride feel seen, heard, and celebrated, with expert guidance through gown selection, veil and accessory styling, gown preservation and cleaning, and more.
But we don’t stop at the bride. We proudly offer tuxedo and suit options, formal wear for the mothers of the bride and groom, and stylish options for the entire wedding party. Our Story
Ella K’s Bridal was founded with both purpose and heart, rooted in a deep appreciation for tradition, community, and the meaningful moments that define life’s most special occasions. Located in the heart of Waterloo, Illinois, our boutique was created to continue a cherished legacy. When a long-standing and beloved local bridal shop closed its doors, Savannah—who had previously worked there—recognized what that loss would mean for the community. Rather than see Waterloo go without a hometown bridal destination, she stepped forward with a vision: to preserve that experience while elevating it into something even more personal and memorable.
Inspired by the strength, grace, and love of her grandmothers—Louella, Eleanora, and Donna Kay—Savannah named the boutique Ella K’s Bridal as a tribute to the women who shaped her values. Their influence lives on in every detail of the business, from the welcoming atmosphere to the genuine care extended to every bride and family who walks through the doors. What began as a continuation of a local tradition quickly became something more: a place where history, family, and celebration come together.
